What Agency Workers Regulations mean for your business
In October 2011, Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) came into force in the UK, giving agency workers the right to equal treatment versus those recruited directly by the hirer.
Equal treatment for the purposes of AWR will be extended after 12 weeks and provides that agency workers receive the same basic terms and conditions as those recruited directly.
