The organisation has gone from strength to strength as a result of great feedback from patients and services and have grown quickly. It is their vision to be the most dependable and thorough aged care physiotherapy service provider caring for the aging population.

They offer expert physiotherapy services residents of aged care facilities and have a newly developed service model which is proving to be highly successful. All staff are supported by a local team leader and professional development is provided by a local clinical educator.

Training in the use of this model will be provided and ongoing support will be provided by the senior members of the team and the director herself who has a wealth of industry experience and clinical knowledge.

There are also development and learning opportunities developed by clinical educators and senior staff.

About the role:

This is a newly created position that will report directly into the MD and will involve providing hands on clinical services covering leave, as well as managerial duties including new business development, clinical service design, new program implementation, staff training and induction, recruitment and HR as well as performance management and general customer service. It is expected that 40% of the workload will be managerial duties with the remaining 60% as clinical hands on work.

The position is to cover the companies Metro Melbourne Region so will involve travel between sites however all within Melbourne. Travel costs and expenses will of course be reimbursed.

All staff receive comprehensive training and support to help you adapt your clinical expertise to the aged care environment and set you up to progress into more senior clinical roles as well as through the ranks into area manager roles and so on. You will also benefit from the input and support of a highly experienced manager who is a clinical professional herself.
